I recently created a custom ankle bracelet for a bride to wear at her wedding. Working with one of three aunts, the goal: an ankle bracelet that represented something old, something new, and something blue.
The finished anklet included:
- a vintage cameo in ivory with two roses in full bloom
- Citrine - a gemstone representing joy - to coordinate with the wedding and engagement rings
- four brilliantly faceted blue topaz colored crystal rondelles to represent the four aunts of the bride
- lots of natural mother of pearl beads.
