Hot Pink Lampwork Flower Bracelet from Bittersweet Ridge

It seems to me that spring comes in softly, but soon ripens into wild vivid floral hues.  At least, that's my inspiration for this bright beauty of a flower bracelet.

This one of a kind, handmade floral delight begins with a bright hot pink Mother of Pearl flower blossom.  I couldn't resist adding some tiny faceted Peridot gemstone beads and pink Czech glass for a stamen.  Then I surrounded this beauty with artisan lampwork beads and fat pink crystal rondelle beads.  These handmade lampwork beads carry on the pink theme with raise fuscia flowers, glass encased sweet pink blossoms, and hot pink swirling circles.  All combined with gold jeweler's wire.

Spring is Blooming: New Pink Flower Bracelet for Mother's Day

  

Spring has finally arrived at Bittersweet Ridge and I love the new sweet blossoms.

As I work in my studio, I can't help but be inspired by the sight and smell - like these cherry blossoms (above) right outside my studio door.

I adore Fall.  It's my favorite season of the year.  I love the crisp fall nights and the good excuse to light a crackling fire.  I love the warm autumn summer days when the sunshine seems more golden.  And I'm absolutely crazy about all the fall color as the leaves turn.

Garden Inspiration for my Floral Themed Bittersweet Ridge Jewelry

My favorite jewelry to make?  Definitely floral.  My garden makes me happy all four seasons.  In fact my home has lots of flower accents - from draperies to pillows, watercolors to wallpaper.  Flowers are essential to my wellbeing.  So its no wonder that I actually love gardening and am passionate about my roses and lilies.

I thought I'd share a few photos of my favorite blossoms this growing season.  Our crepe myrtles are still blooming and just lovely this year.

Summer Rose and Honey Bee Garden Jewelry

I love to sip my first cup of coffee out on the back porch.  It feels so private with lush wisteria covering the pergola roof, yet there are distant vistas of our meadows to stretch the eye.  Hummingbirds are fluttered from flower to flower and honey bees are working their magic in the garden.  The smell of lilies and roses is incredibly sweet that it is intoxicating. 

Drunk on flower scents is a good way to be in my studio.  My own flowers inspire a lot of my work.  This handcrafted pink rose and honey bee bracelet is a good example.  It is composed of big beautiful sage green Aventurine is hand wire wrapped with vintage brass.
