Celebrating World Daffodil Day at Bittersweet Ridge Jewelry

http://bittersweetridgejewelry.com/item_463/Spring-Fever-Daffodil-Necklace-Art-Nouveau-Flower-Jewelry.htm

Yes, I realize it is August and we all think of daffodils as spring flowers.
However, today is World Daffodil Day!

Daffodils represent faith, honesty and forgiveness.  They return each spring, even if they have to fight their way through ice and snow. Daffodils look like a trumpet, which is fitting since they herald the beginning of a new season in the cycle of nature.

Shown above is my creation celebrating daffodils.
The centerpiece is a fabulous vintage repousee brass daffodil focal which I've combined with citrine yellow crystals and vintage brass chain.

A gift of jewelry in a daffodil theme will last much longer than a bouquet of flowers!

New Heron Bird Watcher Jewelry at Bittersweet Ridge

I frequently find myself distracted when I'm out in my studio.  However, I'm not complaining because I also become inspired.   My studio has floor to ceiling windows on the south side overlooking a series of spring fed ponds.  Lately I've been watching the herons come in to fish.

The result?  A series of heron bracelets for my bird watcher fans.  Each are one of a kind and feature a lovely flying heron charm.
Shown above is my iridescent green freshwater pearl heron bracelet.

Shown below is a clear crystal heron bracelet.

Shown below is another freshwater peacock pearl heron bracelet in blues and purples.
