Yes, I realize it is August and we all think of daffodils as spring flowers.
However, today is World Daffodil Day!
Daffodils represent faith, honesty and forgiveness. They return each spring, even if they have to fight their way through ice and snow. Daffodils look like a trumpet, which is fitting since they herald the beginning of a new season in the cycle of nature.
Shown above is my creation celebrating daffodils.
The centerpiece is a fabulous vintage repousee brass daffodil focal which I've combined with citrine yellow crystals and vintage brass chain.
